Are They Certified Google Partners?

Do They Lock You Into Long Term Contracts?

Do not sign a long term contract. You staying with an agency should be based on the results you get – period. If they aren’t performing, you should be able to leave.

Who Pays Google?

Make sure you are the one paying Google directly for the cost of your clicks. Do not let the agency pay Google and you pay the agency. If they do it this way, they will be the ones who “own” your account and they could be marking up the cost of your clicks without you knowing.

Conversion tracking is a vital component to knowing the ROI of your Google Ads efforts and requires custom code on your website. Make sure your Google Ads manager is going to set this up, and not tell your website company to do it.
